Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Kentucky is seeking a Speech Pathologist for a full-time or part-time weekend position. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a leading national inpatient rehabilitation network.

The role requires state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR or completion within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or state certification is required.
• CCC certification (ASHA) must be completed or in process.
• CPR/BLs certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Graduate degree preferred; alternative field experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer individualized treatment plans for speech-language therapy.
• Identify issues and modify therapy as needed to improve outcomes.
• Track and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient progress and milestones with the care team.
