Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Kentucky seeks a Speech Pathologist for full-time or weekend shifts to deliver patient-centered communication therapy in our inpatient setting.

You will evaluate and treat speech and language needs, document progress, ensure licensure and CCC compliance, and participate in a collaborative team focused on compassionate care. Competitive benefits and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC), required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred
