Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel in Florida is seeking a compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our team. In this role you will evaluate, treat, and document speech and language rehabilitation for patients across our inpatient setting, using advanced technologies and collaborative care.

You’ll need a state license, CCC certification, CPR/BLS within 30 days, and a master’s degree preferred (Bachelor’s with field experience acceptable).

Qualifications

• Current state licensure to practice speech-language pathology.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR/BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree in SLP preferred; Bachelor's with field experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify therapy as needed.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.

ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
