Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for patients with speech and language needs. You will develop personalized plans, monitor progress, and adjust therapies to maximize outcomes in a supportive inpatient setting.

The role emphasizes licensure, CCC certification, and CPR, with a preference for a master's degree or equivalent field experience, and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) per state regulations.
• Successful completion of ASHA CCC.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's with relevant field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
