Lifepoint Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for Kindred Hospital Flamingo LTACH in Las Vegas, NV. This full-time role focuses on restoring speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities and requires a master’s degree and state licensure.

You’ll document care, communicate progress to the team, train families, maintain equipment, and comply with regulatory standards. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates.

Formación

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Licensed Speech Therapist with current licensure in the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities.
• Communicate patient progress to supervisor and team; assist with scheduling and post charges.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory and accrediting requirements.
• Instruct patient’s family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Adhere to the Code of Business Conduct and applicable state/federal laws.
• Other duties as assigned.

How You'll Contribute

• Play an important part in helping our patient to recover and feel better about themselves by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements
• Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal laws
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Education: Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Licenses: Licensed Speech Therapist; Current licensure in state working
