Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide evaluated therapy and develop plans in the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital ARU in California. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care and collaboration with the care team.

Applicants should hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, possess an active SLP license with ASHA certification, and have CPR certification. Experience in acute or rehab settings is preferred, with comprehensive benefits and career growth

How You'll Contribute

Assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and provides speech and language therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care.

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Strong communication skills and clinical judgement required.

Wage scale: $37.60-$63.00 Per Hour
