Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. You will evaluate and treat patients, develop plans, and coordinate with care teams in a hospital/rehab setting.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, SLP licensure, ASHA certification, and CPR. Comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities accompany base compensation.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience in acute or rehab setting preferred.
  • Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
  • CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

How you'll contribute

Assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and provides speech and language therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care.

  • Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Strong communication skills and clinical judgement required.

Wage scale: $37.60-$63.00 Per Hour
