Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide evidence-based therapy in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress as part of a supportive national leader in post-acute care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or to be obtained.
• CPR certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
