• CCC - Clinical Speech Pathologist from the ASHA required.

• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA or ARC required.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech-language pathology services by coordinating consultations and diagnostic evaluations with patients having known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia.
• Interprets assessment data and plans and performs speech-language pathology treatment interventions to restore function and maximize potential.
• Provides patient care to all age groups (neonate to geriatric).
• Supervises rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers; may orient and guide assigned staff.

Provides speech-language pathology services by coordinating consultations and diagnostic evaluations with patients having known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia; and interpreting assessment data; planning and performing speech-language pathology treatment intervention programs when appropriate that restore function, prevent disability and help patients reach maximum potential. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the supervision of rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
