Job summary

Lifepoint Health® is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for their Fort Smith location. This full-time position requires evaluation and treatment of patients to help them regain communication skills. The SLP will work within a collaborative healthcare team and document care accurately.

Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP), Inpatient Rehabilitation

Location: 6700 Chad Colley Boulevard, Fort Smith, AR 72916

Schedule: Full‑Time | Flexible Schedule | 1 weekend (Saturday or Sunday) a month and at least 1 holiday a year.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using evidence‑based assessment tools.
• Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
• Educate and empower patients and their families to understand therapy objectives and support progress.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient outcomes with accuracy and clarity.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated, patient‑centered care.
• Contribute to additional clinical duties as needed to support smooth operations.

What You Bring

• Education: Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
• Experience: Background in acute care or rehabilitation settings preferred.
