Job summary

Akron Children's in Canton, OH seeks a Part-Time Speech Pathologist to join our clinical team and perform comprehensive evaluations and develop management/treatment programs for individuals with communicative disorders.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and Ohio licensure with CCC-SLP; Doctorate is preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience is preferred. This is a 0.4 FTE, on-site position with MS Office proficiency expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology is required; Doctorate is preferred.
• Ohio licensure in Speech/Language Pathology and CCC-SLP from ASHA is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides appropriate case management/therapeutic intervention.

Education and Experience

1. Education: Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology is required; Doctorate is preferred


2. Certification: State of Ohio Licensure in Speech/Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology [CCC-SLP] from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association [ASHA] is required.


3. Years of relevant experience: Minimum of 3 years is preferred.


4. Years of experience supervising: None.
