Job summary

Encompass Health is hiring a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders. You will develop individualized plans, monitor progress, and adjust therapy as needed in a supportive national inpatient rehabilitation setting.

The role requires current licensure, CCC, and CPR certification (or within 30 days of hire). A Master’s degree is preferred, with a Bachelor’s degree considered with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• CPR certification or obtained within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized treatment plans for speech-language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and adjust therapy as needed to maximize outcomes.
• Track, document and monitor patient progress and responses to therapy.
• Celebrate patient victories and milestones throughout the recovery journey
