Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our national inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, plan, and administer individualized therapy to help patients regain speech and language skills in a supportive environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, ongoing documentation of progress, and delivering compassionate care. A Master’s degree is preferred, with CCC and state licensure required or soon after hire.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification completed.
• CPR certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
