Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver innovative, evidence-based speech and language therapy to patients in an inpatient setting. You will evaluate, design and implement personalized plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize recovery.

The role requires current state licensure or certification, CCC-SLP, and CPR (or on hire-within 30 days). Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
