Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our national inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs, using evidence-based therapy and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC (Certification of Clinical Competence) required or must be obtained.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Bachelor's degree with field experience
