Job summary

Encompass Health Salisbury is actively seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs, develop individualized plans, and document progress within a collaborative inpatient setting. You will help patients overcome communication challenges using evidence-based methods at a national rehabilitation leader.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred

Bachelor's degree with field experience

CCC Certification

State licensure/certification

CPR certification within 30 days
