Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and administer personalized therapy for patients with speech and language impairments. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient progress in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications include current state licensure, CCC certification, CPR, and graduate degree (Master’s preferred or Bachelor’s with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred

Bachelor's degree with field experience
