Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs in a leading inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will develop individualized plans, monitor progress, and adjust therapies to optimize outcomes, contributing to a nationwide network known for compassionate care.

Qualified candidates hold state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR (or be willing to obtain it within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language needs.
• Identify issues and modify therapy as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
