Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a partner of Washington Regional, invites you to join as a Speech Pathologist in Milton, Delaware. You will evaluate, develop, and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and help patients regain communication skills in a comforting, high-tech environment.

We require current state licensure, CCC, CPR within 30 days, and a master's degree preferred (or bachelor’s with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education
