Job summary

Van Matre Encompass Health Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide patient-centered speech and language rehabilitation in a supportive setting. You will evaluate, treat, and document progress while collaborating with a national inpatient rehabilitation leader dedicated to outcomes and growth.

Current state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR within 30 days are required. A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with field experience, and the organization

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
