Job summary

Van Matre Encompass Health Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs in a community-focused setting. You will develop personalized treatment plans and monitor progress, delivering high-quality therapy with support from a national inpatient rehabilitation leader.

The role requires valid state licensure, SLP CCC certification, and CPR, with a preference for a Master’s degree; Bachelor’s with field experience considered.

Qualifications

• Licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification (ASHA) required or must be obtained.
• CPR certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress throughout therapy.
