Job summary

Van Matre Encompass Health Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, develop, and administer personalized speech and language treatment plans for patients in our inpatient rehabilitation program. Current state licensure, CCC, CPR, and a relevant degree are required or on track for hire, with opportunities for advancement

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification completed.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred
