Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in Florida. You will evaluate, develop, and administer tailored speech and language therapy plans, helping patients overcome communication challenges in a supportive setting.

Required are state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR or readiness to obtain CPR within 30 days. A Master’s degree is preferred, with opportunities for growth and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Must hold current state license in Speech Therapy.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
