Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to help patients overcome speech and language challenges in a supportive inpatient rehab setting. You will evaluate and create personalized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a compassionate team to improve communication and quality of life.

Applicants should hold state licensure or certification, CCC, CPR soon after hire, and preferably a Master''s degree.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's degree with field experience.
• CCC certification required or obtained.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred
