Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland seeks a Speech Pathologist to deliver patient-centered language and communication rehabilitation. You will assess, plan, implement, and document individualized treatment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

This role requires state licensure, CCC, and CPR/BLS, with a Master’s degree preferred or a BA with field experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state licensure in Speech Therapy.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred; Bachelor’s degree with field experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer individualized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Bachelor’s degree with field experience

CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)

State licensure in Speech Therapy
