Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Middletown is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and administer personalized therapy for patients with speech and language disorders in a inpatient setting. You will identify issues, modify treatment when needed, document progress, and celebrate patient victories while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants must hold current state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR (or obtain within 30 days); master's degree preferred

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation patients.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
