Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Middletown seeks a Speech Pathologist to deliver individualized therapy in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will evaluate patients, design and implement treatment plans, and document progress to support meaningful recovery.

Qualified candidates hold current state licensure or certification, and CCC credentials; CPR is required or obtained within 30 days. A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's with related field experience.

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC (ASHA) for certification.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
