Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Middletown is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose and treat speech and language disorders in rehabilitation patients. You will develop personalized treatment plans and document progress to support meaningful recovery and communication gains.

The role requires current state licensure, CCC, CPR within 30 days of hire, and a Master's degree preferred (or Bachelor's with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (Certification of Clinical Competence) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
