Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Kentucky in Columbus, OH is seeking a Speech Pathologist for full-time or part-time roles. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs, develop personalized plans, and document progress in a collaborative inpatient rehab environment.

The ideal candidate holds a current state license in Speech Therapy, CCC, CPR/BLS (within 30 days), and a master’s degree (or bachelor’s with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.
• License or Certification: Must be in possession of current state license in Speech Therapy.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC), required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education
