Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech and language disorders. You will design personalized treatment plans, administer therapy, and monitor progress in a collaborative inpatient environment.

The role requires active state licensure or certification, CCC, and CPR within 30 days of hire. A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's with relevant clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
