Job summary

Encompass Health is hiring a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and administer customized speech and language therapy for patients. You will identify issues and adjust treatment, track progress, and celebrate milestones within a supportive team environment.

The role requires active licensure per state regulations, CCC certification, and CPR either at hire or within 30 days. A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with relevant experience.

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required or in progress.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
