Job summary

Trios Health, part of Lifepoint Health®, is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapist in Kennewick, Washington. You will perform assessments, design care plans, and educate patients while supervising clinical fellows and students.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
  • Licensed Speech Therapist with current licensure in Washington.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
  • Design and implement a plan of care involving patients and families.
  • Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans.
  • Plan and assist with patient discharge from therapy services.
  • Supervise activities of clinical fellows and students.

How You'll Contribute
  • Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
  • Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
  • Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
  • Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
  • Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

What We're Looking For
  • Education: Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology Required.
  • Licenses: Licensed Speech Therapist; Current licensure with Washington Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire Required.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Hourly range

Hourly range: $40.50-$57.54
