Job summary

Qualifications

  • Licensed Speech Therapist; current licensure with WA Board of Speech‑Language Pathology & Audiology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ condition.
  • Design and implement a plan of care involving the patient and family.
  • Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
  • Plan and assist with patient discharge from therapy services.
  • Supervise activities of clinical fellows and support personnel.

How you’ll contribute

Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ condition. Design and implement a plan of care appropriate to the problems identified that involves the patient and family. Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress. Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services. Supervise activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.
