Sevierville Heath and Rehab is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to plan, organize, and direct Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with applicable standards. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time employment. FT or PRN opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC).
• Active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals per standards of practice and department procedures.
• Evaluate and obtain data for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop treatment plans with target lists and short-/long-term goals.
• Instruct patient, family, and staff in speech-language procedures for carryover of therapy.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR.
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols with site coordination.

Sevierville Heath and Rehab is hiring for a Speech Therapist SLP to assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be direction by Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained. Plus, we're offering a $5000 Sign-On Bonus for FT.

Status: Full-Time FT or PRN opportunities are available

Responsibilities:

• To provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.

• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation

• To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals

• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities

• To complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems

• Oversight and implementation of proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs

• Participants in screening protocols for establishing needs of residents are being met timely and with clinical excellence

Job Education & Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

• Certificate of Clinical Competency

• MUST have active SLP license in state(s) of practice.

• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
