Monroe Health and Rehab in Madisonville, TN is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to plan, organize, develop, and direct speech-language pathology services in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. This PRN/PT position requires an active SLP license and CCC-SLP credentials.

The role involves providing quality speech therapy services, evaluation for treatment planning, developing goals, and guiding patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP certification required.
• Active SLP license in state(s) of practice required.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate.
• Evaluate and obtain data for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop treatment plans with target lists and short/long-term goals.
• Instruct patients, families, and staff in speech-language procedures for carryover.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR.
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols and coordinate site programs.
• Participate in screening protocols to identify resident needs.

Monroe Health and Rehab is hiring for a Speech Therapist SLP to assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be direction by Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.

Status: PRN or PT

Location: Madisonville. TN

Responsibilities:

• To provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.
• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation
• To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals
• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities
• To complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems
• Oversight and implementation of proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs
• Participants in screening protocols for establishing needs of residents are being met timely and with clinical excellence

Job Education & Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competency
• MUST have active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
