Rome’s historical markers help document the city’s history and give insight into the culturally rich heritage. Population - 36,332 (2019 census). Developed as a regional center for the fields of medical care and education. In addition to its public-school system, it has several private schools. Higher-level educational institutions include private Berry College and Shorter University, and the public Georgia Northwestern Technical College and Georgia Highlands College. Largest city near the center of the triangular area defined by the Interstate highways between Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, and Chattanooga, TN.

The role you’ll contribute:

To evaluate, plan, and deliver individualized, age-appropriate patient care in the field of Speech Therapy.

Incorporates the philosophies of continuous quality improvement, customer service, and teamwork into daily routine. May require travel. To provide Speech-Language Pathology evaluation, treatment, discharge planning, education, and preventative rehabilitative care to patients in need of it. Services are provided across the outpatient continuum and rendered in a cost-conscious, quality-focused, and customer-oriented manner. The focus of this job is the restoration or improvement of function while reducing dependencies and in the reduction and/or prevention of injuries. Compliance with all applicable regulatory standards is also required in this role.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Graduate of an accredited school in SLP with a Master’s degree in SLP.

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

• Current licensure in the state of Georgia in respective discipline.
