Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Valid Texas license or temporary license required.
• 2 years licensed SLP; 4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote teamwork and safety.
• Directs and supervises speech-language therapy components for patients.
• Communicates with the healthcare team and documents clearly.
• Creates a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
• Ensures complete, timely written documentation of patient information.
• Executes the SLT process to deliver quality care across episodes.
