Job summary

Nyman Associates is seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for school-based settings. You will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to support students' communication and academic success.

The role includes implementing treatment plans, collecting progress data, preparing therapy materials, and collaborating with teachers, related service providers, and families. A graduate of an accredited SLPA program with state licensure or in process is required; school-based experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program, or equivalent coursework in communication sciences and disorders.
• State SLPA license or credential (if applicable) or in the process of applying.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Implement treatment plans designed by supervising SLPs
• Support students in achieving IEP goals through therapy activities
• Collect and document data on student progress
• Assist with preparation of therapy materials and activities
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families as directed by the supervising SLP
