Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Modesto, CA. In this full-time, in-person role, you will support licensed SLPs by delivering speech therapy services under supervision, assisting students to improve communication and achieve IEP goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy interventions following licensed SLP treatment plans
• Assist students in individual and group therapy sessions to develop communication skills
• Collect data, monitor student progress, and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with SLPs, educators, and families to support student success
• Maintain a positive, supportive, and safe therapeutic environment
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards in service delivery

Required Qualifications

• Valid California Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Certification
• Experience or interest in school-based speech therapy preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow treatment plans and work under clinical supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with children or in educational settings
• Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
• Commitment to supporting students with mild to moderate communication needs
