Job Summary

We are seeking pediatric‑passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to provide therapy services to children in the Merced, CA area in a school setting. You will also be documenting all patient care, observing and participating in treatment, and adjusting goals and milestones as needed for the best possible outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of speech pathology, is able to provide compassionate care to every client, and has excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed speech‑language pathologists in delivering therapy sessions tailored to individual needs, including articulation, language development, and social communication therapy.
• Support children’s intervention programs by implementing therapy activities designed to improve speech and language skills.
• Prepare therapy materials, assist with data collection, and document client progress accurately in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
• Maintain a safe, engaging environment that encourages participation and motivation during therapy activities.
