Job summary

Celebrations Speech Group in Brentwood, CA is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our pediatric therapy team. The SLPA will provide speech therapy services under supervision, working across clinic, school, home, and community settings to help children build meaningful communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Current California SLPA license required.
  • Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related bachelor’s degree.

  • Ability to build rapport with patients, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Implement direct therapy and treatment plans under supervision.
  • Provide services to pediatric patients in clinic, school, home, and/or community-based settings.
  • Complete daily documentation, including SOAP notes, treatment updates, and related records.
  • Support progress report preparation and treatment planning as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, families, clinical team members, and supervisors.
  • Manage time effectively between direct treatment, documentation, scheduling, and related responsibilities.
  • Maintain organized and accurate patient documentation in accordance with company policy.
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and supervision meetings as required.
  • Participate in team collaboration and contribute to a supportive clinical environment.
  • Follow company policies, HIPAA requirements, and applicable clinical standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Position Details

Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Location: Brentwood, CA

About the Role

The SLPA will provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. This position requires strong communication, organization, documentation, and time management skills. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-centered, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
