  • Assist in progress reports and treatment planning as directed by supervising SLP.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, families, and clinical team members.
  • Balance direct treatment, documentation and scheduling efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation per policy.
  • Attend staff trainings and supervision meetings as required.
  • Participate in team collaboration and contribute to a supportive environment.
  • Follow HIPAA and clinical standards; perform other duties as assigned.

Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

About The Role

The SLPA will provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. This position requires strong communication, organization, documentation, and time management skills. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-centered, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities Include
  • Implement direct therapy and treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Provide services to pediatric patients in clinic, school, home, and/or community-based settings.
  • Complete daily documentation, including SOAP notes, treatment updates, and related records.
  • Support progress report preparation and treatment planning as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, families, clinical team members, and supervisors.
  • Manage time effectively between direct treatment, documentation, scheduling, and related responsibilities.
  • Maintain organized and accurate patient documentation in accordance with company policy.
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and supervision meetings as required.
  • Participate in team collaboration and contribute to a supportive clinical environment.
  • Follow company policies, HIPAA requirements, and applicable clinical standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Current California SLPA license required.
  • Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
