Summit Speech Language Pathology in Antioch-Brentwood is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The SLPA will provide engaging, individualized therapy services to pediatric clients under the supervision of Dr. Traci Akiki.

The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical excellence, empathy, and strong communication skills, with a commitment to helping each patient reach their full potential and to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current California SLPA license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services as outlined in treatment plans
• Implement therapy goals under the supervision of an SLP
• Document session notes accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with supervising SLPs, families, and clinic staff
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming therapy environment
