Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
• SLPA training program completion preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification may be required.
• Experience with children in educational or therapeutic settings is desirable.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in student records.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervising SLP in delivering direct speech and language therapy to individual students and small groups.
• Maintain records of therapy sessions and progress, following confidentiality and school policies.
• Collaborate with the SLP, teachers, and related service providers to support students’ communication goals.
• Assist in scheduling therapy sessions and organize materials and supplies.
