Qualifications

• Knowledge of speech-language disorders and conditions.
• Ability to instruct and manage student behavior.
• Fifty hours of clinical observation and assisting experience as required for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and hearing screening as directed by the supervising licensed speech-language pathologist.
• Implement the treatment program or the IEP as designed by the supervising licensed speech-language pathologist.
• Carry out transfer activities to apply communication skills across contexts.
• Represent speech pathology at ARD committees as directed by the supervising speech-language pathologist.
• Prepare clinical materials and observations.
