Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a School-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a district in Montgomery, Texas. This role involves supporting evaluations, implementing IEP-directed plans, delivering therapy, and tracking student progress under a supervising SLP.

The ideal candidate has a Texas SLPA license (if required), BLS, and at least one year of relevant experience. School experience is a plus but not mandatory, and SHC offers mentorship and growth opportunities.

• American Heart Association BLS.
• At least one year of recent relevant experience preferred.
• School experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist SLP-CCC with evaluations and screenings as needed.
• Implement individualized education plans developed and directed by the supervising SLP.
• Provide direct therapy services addressing treatment goals set by the supervising SLP to meet student needs.
• Collect data and document student performance and report findings in a timely manner.

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Contract Details:

• SLPA may assist SLP-CCC with evaluations and screenings.
• SLPA will implement individualized education plan developed and directed by the supervising SLP
• SLPA will provide direct therapy services addressing treatment goals developed by the supervising SLP to meet the needs of the student
• The SLPA will be expected to collect data and document student performance and report its information in a timely manner
