Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a contract role in Schertz, Texas. You will join a school district to support SLPA duties 37.5 hours per week on days, starting ASAP for 13 weeks.

The role involves implementing IEPs, data collection, and collaboration with supervising SLPs to deliver direct therapy addressing student goals. Texas licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active Texas SLPA license if required by that state.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• At least one year of recent relevant experience preferred.
• School experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist SLP-CCC with evaluations and screenings.
• Implement individualized education plans under supervising SLP.
• Provide direct therapy addressing goals set by supervising SLP.
• Collect data and document student performance promptly.

Currently, we are partnering with a school district in Schertz, Texas hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.

Qualifications

• Active Texas SLPA license if required by that state
• American Heart Association BLS
• At least one year of recent relevant experience preferred
• School experience is preferred but not required

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Contract Details

• $39.60 - $42.65 per hour
• SLPA may assist SLP-CCC with evaluations and screenings.
• SLPA will implement individualized education plan developed and directed by the supervising SLP
• SLPA will provide direct therapy services addressing treatment goals developed by the supervising SLP to meet the needs of the student
• The SLPA will be expected to collect data and document student performance and report its information in a timely manner
