Supplemental Health Care is seeking a School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a 13-week local contract in Cleveland, Texas. This role supports evaluations, data collection, and direct therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

The position offers 30 hours per week and a daytime shift, with local employment only. The ideal candidate holds a Texas SLPA license (if required), BLS certification, and at least one year of relevant experience; school-based experience is preferred

Qualifications

• American Heart Association BLS
• At least one year of recent relevant experience preferred
• School experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• SLPA may assist SLP-CCC with evaluations and screenings
• SLPA will implement individualized education plan developed and directed by the supervising SLP
• SLPA will provide direct therapy services addressing treatment goals developed by the supervising SLP to meet the needs of the student
• The SLPA will be expected to collect data and document student performance and report its information in a timely manner

Currently, we are partnering with a school district in Cleveland, Texas hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.

Qualifications:

• Active Texas SLPA license if required by that state

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Contract Details:

• $41.10 - $44.25 per hour
• SLPA may assist SLP-CCC with evaluations and screenings.
