Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a Midwest City, Oklahoma school district to hire a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). The SLPA will assist with evaluations and screenings, implement IEPs under the supervising SLP, and provide direct therapy to meet student goals while collecting data and reporting progress.

Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma SLPA license if required by that state
• American Heart Association BLS
• At least one year of recent relevant experience preferred
• School experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• SLPA may assist SLP-CCC with evaluations and screenings.
• SLPA will implement individualized education plan developed and directed by the supervising SLP
• SLPA will provide direct therapy services addressing treatment goals developed by the supervising SLP to meet the needs of the student
• The SLPA will be expected to collect data and document student performance and report its information in a timely manner
