Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-year position in Yorktown, VA. The role involves conducting evaluations, creating IEP-driven plans, and delivering direct therapy to students.

Collaboration with teachers, families, and administrators is essential for student success. The candidate should hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and VA licensure (ESA certification preferred).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• VA State SLP license is required or able to obtain; CCC-SLP preferred.
• Experience in school-based settings is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and administrators.
• Maintain documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Support AAC implementation and other communication strategies.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.

Hours: Monday–Friday, FT (37.5 hours/week)

About The Role

We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and student-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team in Sumner. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students develop communication skills that support academic success, social development, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and administrators
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Support AAC implementation and other communication strategies when appropriate
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid VA State SLP license and ESA certification (or ability to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• School-based experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
